Alternative dairy products used include soy, rice, oat, coconut and almond milk, soy butter, coconut oil, tofu and tofu based cheeses. Sweeteners include fruit purées, agave syrup, honey, maple syrup and evaporated cane juice. Custom flour blends are created using brown rice, millet, coconut flour, soy flour, fava and garbanzo bean meal, potato flour, tapioca flour and almond meal.
Most of the Decadence traditional flavors are available in alternative options. A few of the most requested flavors in Special Diet cakes include: Chocolate, Carrot, Apple, Pumpkin, Red Velvet, Lemon, Coconut and Orange. The price of the cake is affected by its size and design requirements but most importantly, by the ingredients. At Decadence, only high-quality, natural and organic ingredients are used . All products are made from scratch. As a guide, a Special Diets wedding cake will cost $10.00 per person and a Special Diets specialty cake will cost $5.00 per person.
